Growing Roots Academy at Koi-B Collective is a faith-based, private hybrid program founded by Lauren Fagan, a passionate educator, artist, and mother of four, who saw a need for faith-based learning opportunities for children.
Growing Roots is a nurturing learning community where faith, curiosity, and creativity help children grow. Our program incorporates a classical approach to education, with plans to transition to a fully classical model for the 2027–2028 school year.
Admission is through an application and family interview process rather than open enrollment. These conversations help us get to know each family and explore whether Growing Roots is a good fit.
Our program is at capacity for the 2026–2027 school year.
If you are interested in information for the 2027-2028 school year, please fill out this form to stay updated.

“Lauren Fagan played a pivotal role in our decision to take control of our children’s education and embark on our homeschooling journey. She guided us through the process and the curriculum. It is a bonus that she has created this beautiful community to complement it.”
“We were looking for something more than just an art program, and we found a family. Koi-B Collective is filled with warmth and purpose. The kids learn to express themselves through art while discovering who they are in Christ. It’s truly a place where creativity blossoms and hearts grow.”
